Street Tacos

Stop having boring tacos on Tuesday.  These Street Tacos are fast and easy to make.  Your family will be amazed that you made them from scratch.  And don't forget to serve them with my Chipotle Crema Sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2-3 Pounds Stir-Fry Beef, chopped 
  • 1 Medium Onion, chopped and divided
  • 2 Fresh Limes, juiced
  • 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • Salt and Pepper, to Taste
  • Corn or Flour Mini Taco Shells
  • Fresh Cilantro, Cheese and other Toppings of Choice

Directions

  • Heat the oil in a skillet on medium heat
  • Add beef and cook until browned
  • Add half of the chopped onion and lime juice.  Season with salt and pepper if desired
  • Cook until the onion is softened
  • Serve meat on mini taco shells and top with favorite toppings
  • Optional:  Lightly fry taco shells in butter, about one minute per side

Yields: Approximately 12 Servings
