Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Minute Rice
  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 1 Egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons Dried Chopped Onion
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon Marjoram
  • Pepper to Taste
  • 2 (8 Ounce) Cans Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar

Directions

  • Stir together water and tomato sauce
  • Combine rice, beef, egg, onion, salt, marjoram, pepper, and 1/2 cup tomato sauce, mix well
  • Shape into 18 balls
  • Place balls in a skillet and pour the remaining sauce over the meatballs
  • Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes
