Nana's BBQ Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 1 Small Onion, diced
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1/3 Cup Water
  • 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3/4 Cup Ketchup

Directions

  • Brown the ground beef and onion until brown
  • Add water and simmer for 5 or 6 minutes
  • Then add brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup
  • Simmer for 30 to 45 minutes until most of the juice is cooked down and it is the consistency you would like
  • Freeze leftovers and add a little water when thawed
