Mississippi Roast Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 (3-4 Pounds) Chuck Roast
  • 1 Package Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 1 Package Au Jus Gravy Mix
  • 1/4 Cup Butter or Margarine, cut into chunks
  • 4-5 Whole Pepperoncini Peppers
  • 2-3 Tablespoons Pepperoncini Juice

Directions

  • In a large slow cooker, place the chuck roast in the bottom
  • Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy over the top of the roast.  Place pats of butter and pepperoncinis on top of the roast
  • Add the pepperoncini juice to the roast
  • Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours
  • When done, remove the stems from the pepperoncinis
  • Shred the beef and the peppers
  • Stir the contents of the slow cooker to mix together and serve
